Quadrant Australia has hosted numerous agricultural study tour groups over the years and have always tried to visit the best, so it was a highlight of one of our recent tours to stay overnight at Wambiana with the Lyons family. Their wonderfully generous hospitality is well complemented by the amazing work done by Michael and Michelle in developing the right genetics for their cattle operation. Clearly Michael’s scientific approach is cutting edge and he (and family) are amongst industry leaders in their breeding research. Our experienced producers participating in the tour were impressed by the approach and the evident results; an endorsement not freely or often given.
It is difficult to overstate Michael and Michelle’s generosity as hosts. We were met at their historic homestead with a big smile and quickly looked after in fine style. Dinner with the extended Lyons family under the stars after a day of touring the property was fantastic with more than enough opportunity to exchange views on all we had seen during the day.
It’s a great operation and now one of our company’s regular inclusions for both international and local groups.
Well done Michael and Michelle, you have a great thing going!
