I stayed at Wambiana Station in July of 2017 for two nights as a teacher leader with about 30 high school students from the States. Each one of us was treated like family by the Lyons Family. They put us to WORK! We helped with branding and dipping the cattle, and had a great laugh helping catch a few pigs who escaped their pen! I can’t believe we only stayed there for two nights. I left with such love for this family and a great appreciation for life on an Outback station. The level of teamwork it takes to keep a successful station like this going was observed by all. What a valuable lesson all of us learned by spending this quality time with the Lyons Family. An incredible experience not to be missed!
